Donning instructions BELSANA donning and doffing aid
Have the following ready:
- your medical compression stockings
- the BELSANA donning and doffing aid
- we also recommend:
BELSANA gripStar special gloves with Secure grip profile – for a better grip and to protect the knitted fabric
1. Fit on the donning aid
Slide your foot into the BELSANA donning and doffing aid. Make sure the red loop is positioned on the bridge of the foot and the white loop is under the toes.
2. Slide the stocking over the foot
Use both hands to slide the entire stocking in small movements over the donning aid on to the foot piece (do not roll up the stocking).
3. Check fit
Put on the stocking till the heel and toe sit correctly and the rest of the stocking is positioned at ankle level.
4. Remove donning aid
Then pull the red loop to remove the BELSANA donning and doffing aid from the stocking.
5. Finish putting on the stocking
Ease the rest of the stocking in stages up along the leg. Do not pull at the top (grip top, rim).
6. Please note additionally
In the case of thigh-high stockings finish by just simply folding over the grip top. Make sure the stocking sits correctly. Adjust stockings with open toe till they sit comfortably.
7. Perfect fit
Finally distribute the knitted fabric once more along the leg to achieve a wrinkle-free fit.
